Implementation of the eThekwini Municipality’s “Working on Fire” programme

The eThekwini Municipality invites proposals for the roll-out of invasive alien plant control in predetermined community open-space areas, through the employment, training and mentoring of community members in mechanical, manual, chemical and fire control methods. All documents must be collected from the Cashier, Basement, City Engineers Complex, 166 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban (between 08:00 and 12:30 and from 13:15 to 15:15). A nonrefundable tender fee of R250.00 (Bank guaranteed cheques or cash only) will be charged for each tender document collected.

A compulsory briefing session will be held at 6 ½ Floor (Penthouse Boardroom), City Engineers Complex, 166 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, on 29 June 2012, from 10:00 to 11:30. Tenders will not be considered from tenderers who do not attend. The closing date is 13 July 2012. All tenders are to be deposited in the Tender Box, on the Ground Floor, City Engineers Complex, 166 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban (between 08:00 and 12:30 and from 13:15 to 15:15).
